About the owner.
I think the biggest surprise when my friends and family heard I was opening Louisville Mercantile was that I hadn’t done it sooner.
After spending most of my adult life as a business professional, I retired and decided to start living my dream. I have always had a propensity for creative passion and I created Louisville Mercantile as a place where our community could find uncommon southern goods.
This passion includes creating something out of most anything – especially if it involves fabric and/or paint. Or if it includes wood, paper, glitter, glue…well, I think you get the picture. I love being creative!
I contribute my passion to having a family tree filled with talented, resourceful, and entrepreneurial kinfolks. A wonderful hubby gets credit for helping make the dream a reality.
What really makes Louisville Mercantile special is the numerous new friends we’ve made, and the awesome community support we’ve received. There’s always something new at Louisville Mercantile. I hope you’ll stop in and say hello.
